Founder story

Abila originated from Sage Nonprofit Solutions, which was spun off by Sage Group in 2013 and acquired by private equity firm Accel-KKR. Led by CEO Krista Endsley, the company was rebranded as Abila to deliver specialized fund accounting and membership software to mission-driven organizations. In April 2017, Abila was acquired by Community Brands to expand its nonprofit software portfolio.
