Atomicwork was founded in 2022 in San Francisco, California, by Vijay Rayapati, Kiran Darisi, and Parsuram Vijayasankar. Rayapati previously founded Minjar (acquired by Nutanix), while Darisi and Vijayasankar were part of the founding team at Freshworks. Recognizing that enterprise employees faced fragmented systems and slow support responses, they built Atomicwork to revolutionize IT service management using agentic AI.
