Founder story

Banger Mail was founded in 2026 by Tiago Loureiro (former engineer at Beeper and Automattic) and Luiz Barcelos through their studio MuchBetterApps. Recognizing that email infrastructure remained fundamentally designed for single users—forcing teams to share passwords, forward threads, or paste drafts into Slack for review—they built Banger Mail. They developed custom mail server infrastructure to provide true multi-user permissions and built-in draft review.
