Founder story

BQE CORE was built by BQE Software Inc., which was originally founded over three decades ago by a forward-thinking architect and a professional engineer. Operating from their offices in Torrance, California, the founders grew deeply frustrated by the scattered spreadsheets, administrative chaos, and persistent financial blind spots that typically plagued independent creative practices. They engineered CORE to give professionals an integrated, centralized environment that handles the burdens of back-office management, leaving teams free to focus entirely on structural innovation and client success.

Comparison overview

• Unlike broad consumer bookkeeping modules that lack industry specific context, BQE CORE provides native project phase tracking explicitly modeled for architects and engineers.
• While traditional standalone timesheet applications handle tracking roles in absolute silos, CORE connects hours directly to final account ledgers with no human re-entry.
• Compared to massive multi-million dollar ERP software stacks demanding continuous coding upkeep, its cloud setup implements under predictable, out-of-the-box subscription parameters.
