Founder story
Bynder was founded in 2013 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, by Chris Hall, Roland Keijzer, and Stefan Keijzer. Originating from web development agency Label A, the founders experienced firsthand the difficulty marketing teams faced in organizing and sharing heavy digital media. They created Bynder as a user-friendly cloud brand portal, rapidly scaling it into an enterprise DAM platform acquired by Thomas H. Lee Partners.
