DocsAlot is an AI-native documentation and knowledge base platform engineered for SaaS and developer-focused software companies. It aggregates help center articles, developer guides, and API schemas into a unified documentation site readable by humans and AI agents alike. By automatically serving hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, llms.txt, and skill.md files, DocsAlot ensures LLMs cite accurate context. The platform continuously monitors codebase changes and visitor search queries to flag outdated documentation.
Generates hosted developer documentation alongside agent-readable formats including llms.txt, skill.md, and hosted MCP endpoints. Monitors codebase pull requests and product updates to automatically flag stale, drifted, or outdated docs. Tracks AI agent traversal behavior and user search queries to suggest structural improvements and missing guides. Performs automated AI visibility audits to verify product citations across external LLMs and search engines.
Hosted MCP endpoints and llms.txt generation ensure AI agents retrieve structured, up-to-date product context automatically. Continuous source-code sync detects documentation drift before customers or AI agents receive outdated instructions. Agent traversal analytics reveal how LLM agents consume help centers, driving token-efficient content structuring. Flat usage-based flat pricing eliminates per-seat friction for team-wide collaborator onboarding.

DocsAlot was founded in 2026 in Montreal, Canada, by Faizan Khan and Haya Jawed. Having worked across developer tools and software engineering, the founders observed that traditional documentation platforms served only human readers, leaving AI coding agents and LLM search systems with stale, fragmented product context. They created DocsAlot to build a unified documentation layer that maintains human readability while optimizing for agentic search and tool retrieval.
