Founder story

While building a previous lending startup, Jeremy Zhang and Ansel Parikh realized that verifying employment data was a massive bottleneck. They had to manually download CSV files from different HR systems just to underwrite a simple loan. Realizing the entire employment ecosystem was fragmented and disconnected, they pivoted to build Finch, acting as the 'Plaid for Payroll' to connect the entire industry.
