Genrank

Overview

Genrank is an AI search visibility and optimization platform built for marketing teams navigating the shift from traditional SEO to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). It tracks how often and how favorably your brand appears in ChatGPT and other AI-driven search answers. The platform provides retrieval simulation, sentiment tracking, and competitor ad insights to help brands optimize their online presence for large language models.

What it does

• Simulates how AI search engines retrieve and rank web pages to understand why brands get cited or overlooked.
• Tracks brand mentions, citations, and sentiment signals across key sources that influence AI-generated answers.
• Monitors competitor advertising activity and sponsored placements appearing within conversational AI search platforms.
• Provides a content optimizer with actionable recommendations to make website pages easier for LLMs to read and reference.

Who it's for

• Marketing Agencies
• E-Commerce Brands
• Financial Services
• Real Estate Teams

Why it works

• Shifts focus from traditional search engine rankings to generative engine optimization where buying decisions happen.
• Provides deep retrieval simulation rather than superficial mention tracking to explain why recommendations occur.
• Offers integrated ad insights revealing which competitors pay for placement inside conversational AI search results.
• Includes robust API access allowing marketing teams to integrate AI visibility data directly into custom reporting dashboards.

Founder story

Genrank was founded in August 2024 to solve a blind spot in digital marketing: why AI systems recommend certain brands while ignoring others. Recognizing that legacy SEO tools could not measure generative engine presence, the team built a platform to track, analyze, and optimize brand visibility inside conversational AI engines like ChatGPT.
