Founder story

Intelex Technologies was founded in 1992 in Toronto, Canada, by Andrew Jaine and Ted Grunau. The founders developed early software solutions to help industrial companies digitize complex environmental and safety compliance records. Led later by CEO Mark Jaine, Intelex scaled into a global EHSQ market leader before being acquired by Industrial Scientific (a subsidiary of Fortive) for $570 million in 2019.
