Founder story

Katana Cloud Inventory was founded in 2017 by Kristjan Vilosius, Hannes Kert, and Priit Kaasik in Tallinn, Estonia. The founders recognized that traditional manufacturing software was outdated, expensive, and ill-suited for modern, agile D2C brands. They raised initial capital with a simple pitch deck and quickly built a prototype to bring an easy-to-use, cloud-based MRP solution to SMB manufacturers globally.
