Knowify

Overview

Knowify is a comprehensive cloud-based construction project management and job costing platform engineered specifically for specialty trade and general contractors. The software unifies professional bidding, contract administration, material procurement tracking, real-time job costing data, and active field timesheets into a single operating matrix. By maintaining a bidirectional accounting synchronization with industry standard ledgers, Knowify helps contracting businesses eliminate structural data silos and accurately protect project margins.

Why it works

• Deep native accounting integration eliminates error-prone manual spreadsheet re-entry loops.

• Turnkey mobile workflows connect field crews directly to office administrative project directories.
• Flexible AIA billing architectures simplify complex commercial draw request compliance tracking.

Founder story

Founded in 2012 in New York City by technical entrepreneur Marc Visent and operational partners, Knowify was built to modernize small-to-medium construction operations. Frustrated by seeing skilled tradespeople burn valuable cash flow due to fragmented paper indexing and invisible field expenses, they engineered an enterprise-grade cloud operating system built specifically for the field.
