Knowork

Overview

Knowork is a comprehensive workspace management platform custom-engineered to prioritize the tenant and member experience within coworking environments. The software goes beyond basic desk booking by unifying membership plan management, automated recurring invoicing, multi-location facility calendars, and interactive community networks into a single dashboard. By providing a white-labeled mobile application, it enables operators to foster a collaborative networking hub complete with rich profile directories, chat channels, and built-in video rooms. Ultimately, Knowork transforms physical infrastructure management into a dynamic community ecosystem that drives customer loyalty and drives operational efficiency.

• Provides flexible space reservations and calendar management tools for offices, meeting spaces, and hot desks.
• Integrates with Stripe and Mollie to process one-off charges, recurring subscription billing, and automated invoice delivery.
• Powers a white-labeled mobile member application containing searchable member directories, business post feeds, and proactive matchmaking features.
• Facilitates continuous digital engagement with built-in topic chat channels, continuous direct messaging, and secure video rooms.
• Manages local business perks, promotion directories, community event ticketing, and targeted attendee marketing logs.

Founder story

Knowork was founded in 2017 by Greg Marschall and Povilas Korop in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Working from various flexible workspaces, the founders observed that while most traditional coworking systems were transactional—focusing strictly on property billing and room rules—they missed the human component that actually brings members back. To bridge the gap between administrative utility and community building, they engineered a social knowledge management layer tailored specifically for modern spaces. Operating as an agile remote team, they have successfully scaled Knowork to support operators globally.

Comparison overview

• Knowork distinguishes itself from enterprise operational giants like OfficeRnD and Nexudus by designing its software around a 'community-first' social layout rather than prioritizing mechanical asset tracking.
• Unlike rigid software suites that function simply as booking platforms, Knowork integrates native social channels, rich user-matching databases, and persistent always-on video meeting interfaces.
• While basic management utilities require disjointed standalone add-ons for member messaging, Knowork bundles standard invoicing protocols and communication features under a single white-labeled deployment.
• It serves as an exceptionally agile choice for independent spaces looking to build premium community networks, though operators with complex enterprise real-estate portfolios may integrate it with underlying building systems.
