Founder story

Founded in 2009 in San Francisco by brothers Thomas Pedersen and Christian Pedersen, OneLogin was built to simplify password management and identity security for enterprise cloud adoption. Leveraging experience from early cloud helpdesk solutions, the founders created an accessible Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) platform. In October 2021, OneLogin was acquired by One Identity (a Quest Software company backed by Francisco Partners and Elliott Management).
