Founder story

Founded in 2014 in Stockholm, Sweden by Anette Torsleff, Emil Majkowski, Marek Kaczmarek, and James Burrows, Rentals United was created by four competing property managers. Realizing that manually updating calendars across scattered sites severely restricted scaling, they joined forces to build a robust distribution engine. The company grew globally before its strategic acquisition by hospitality tech giant Guesty.
