Founder story

Salesgenie was created under InfoUSA, which later rebranded to Data Axle, a pioneer in data compilation founded by Vinod Gupta in 1972 in Omaha, Nebraska. Comparison overview

• Unlike competitors like Apollo or ZoomInfo which focus primarily on digital tech firmographics and LinkedIn profiles, Salesgenie leverages Data Axle's traditional proprietary consumer databases.
• This renders it unique for traditional small businesses, local services, and industries dependent on hybrid direct mail and phone list sequences.
• It leans heavily into offline outreach capabilities like direct postcard mailing, which modern, pure-SaaS lead providers usually lack.
