SigmaRemote

Overview

SigmaRemote (also known as Sigma) is a global payroll, contractor management, and Employer of Record (EOR) platform designed to simplify international hiring and payments. Beyond standard compliance and tax management, it distinguishes itself with a worker-focused financial hub that includes USD savings wallets, optional stablecoin payments, and access to investment tools, helping remote workers in emerging markets manage currency risk and build wealth.

What it does

• Automates global payroll, tax compliance (including W-8BEN/W-7 forms), and employment agreements across 160+ countries.
• Provides a USD savings wallet (powered by Wells Fargo) allowing workers to hold and manage income in stable currency.
• Offers an EOR service for hiring full-time employees in international markets without requiring local legal entities.
• Facilitates high-volume, automated gig-economy payouts with multiple disbursement methods including bank transfers and stablecoins.
• Manages localized benefits, social security contributions, and expense tracking for distributed teams.

Who it's for

• Startup Founders
• Global HR & Operations Managers
• Marketplace Operators
• Remote-first Companies
• Gig Economy Platforms

Why it works

• Worker-First Financials: Integrates USD wallets and investment options directly into the payout flow, significantly improving retention for talent in emerging markets.
• Cost-Effective Compliance: Offers one of the lowest starting price points for both contractor management ($18/month) and EOR services ($249/month) in the industry.
• Unified Infrastructure: Replaces fragmented payment tools (like PayPal or Payoneer) with a streamlined, compliant, and predictable payout rail.
• Automated Tax Intelligence: Uses AI to handle complex IRS documentation (W-8BEN, ITIN/W-7) and stay updated on global regulatory changes.
• Flexible Payouts: Supports a wide range of methods including local bank transfers, USD, and crypto/stablecoin withdrawals to suit diverse regional needs.
