Founder story

Tella was co-founded in 2020 by Grant Shaddick and Michiel Wouters. While working together at the fully remote design software giant InVision, they noticed that product updates shared via highly polished videos achieved significantly more engagement. Finding that options were either too basic or required hours in professional editing setups, they built a prototype in early 2020. Based in Amsterdam, the project secured a spot in Y Combinator's S20 batch and expanded globally.
