Founder story

Toma was founded in early 2024 by tech innovators Monik Pamecha and Anthony Krivonos in San Francisco. To deeply understand the immense pressure plaguing car dealerships, the founders completely immersed themselves inside active operations rooms. They realized that massive amounts of inbound business revenue evaporated simply because shorthanded teams couldn't pick up the phone fast enough. They engineered an autonomous vocal agent system specifically aligned to car dealer workflows.

Comparison overview

• Unlike standard cloud telephony architectures like RingOver or Dialpad that provide passive call routing or basic transcription features, Toma acts as an interactive worker.
• It shifts past generic sales assistants like Nooks by embedding native automotive specific domain logic like scheduling test drives or tracking vehicle recall databases.
• Furthermore, its real-time continuous learning backend updates CRM record lines without forcing human operators to transpose text conversations manually.
