Tucky

Overview

Tucky is a native macOS productivity and note-taking application designed for fast-moving founders and developers. It rests as an unobtrusive, thin stripe on the edge of the Mac screen to allow instant thought capture without breaking focus or switching tabs. The app features local encryption, voice dictation, and an embedded AI agent capable of turning raw notes into actionable calendar events and tasks.

• Docks to the edge of the macOS screen to enable frictionless, tab-free note capture without interrupting deep work focus.
• Employs an embedded AI agent to autonomously process scattered thoughts into scheduled calendar events, actionable tasks, and message drafts.
• Ensures high data privacy by providing local-first, on-device encrypted storage so notes remain secure on your machine.
• Supports push-to-talk voice dictation powered by Soniox for rapid, hands-free idea capture.
• Integrates with external tools like Google Calendar and GitHub to streamline productivity workflows directly from the screen edge.

• Offers a highly competitive pricing model with a generous free core experience and a $4/month Plus tier for advanced cloud AI features.

Founder story

Mehdi Harzallah founded Tucky in 2026. As a founder, he found himself drowning in scattered notes, ideas, and reminders spread across various apps and screens. He built Tucky to solve his own chaotic workflow, aiming to create a lightweight, edge-docked assistant that quickly turns passing thoughts into concrete actions without friction.
