Unolo was founded in 2010 in Gurugram, India, by Siddharth Kilam under SmartSense Technologies. Operating large field operations, Kilam experienced firsthand the difficulties of verifying employee locations, tracking real daily visits, and validating manual expense claims. He built Unolo to give operations managers a centralized, automated system that digitizes field attendance, task verification, and travel reimbursement workflows.
