V2Fun

Overview

V2Fun is an all-in-one browser-based 3D creation platform that merges image generation, 3D modeling, auto-rigging, and video-based motion capture into a single workflow. It allows creators to transform text prompts or reference images into textured 3D models with up to 8K resolution. The platform automates skeleton generation and retargets ordinary video movements onto custom characters, eliminating the need for expensive hardware or fragmented pipelines. It empowers developers, artists, and hobbyists to produce game-ready assets rapidly.

What it does

• Converts text prompts and 2D reference images into production-ready 3D models, props, and characters.
• Generates sharp, high-fidelity 8K surface textures directly on 3D geometry.
• Automatically detects key joints and applies clean quad remeshing and skeleton rigs to models.
• Extracts human motion from ordinary single-camera videos using AI and retargets it onto custom character models.

Who it's for

• Indie Game Developers
• 3D Animators
• VTubers and Streamers
• 3D Printing Hobbyists

Why it works

• Browser-based infrastructure removes the need for high-end local rendering hardware or complicated plugin setups.
• Unified pipeline eliminates friction between separate modeling, texturing, and motion capture tools.
• Automated rigging and AI motion interpolation save hours of manual weight painting and keyframing.
• Freemium accessibility lets independent creators prototype complex 3D scenes effortlessly.

Founder story

V2Fun was built by Vertex Lab to resolve the fragmentation in traditional 3D pipelines, where creators were forced to juggle separate tools for modeling, texturing, and motion capture. The team aimed to leverage generative AI to automate technical bottlenecks like rigging and retopology, making high-end character creation accessible directly inside standard web browsers.
